2014 SLEEPER CABERNET! Crazy Deal!

THANK YOU to all of you who have so patiently waited for the next release of our Sleeper Cabernet. Same incredible quality, same price, and about $100 less than you'd pay for this Cab under its real name!!

Dear Oenophile,

This is a wine that has fulfilled its name... SLEEPER: "an unexpected success". To our great pride, it has become "a thing" and regularly rates highly on Cellartracker. We are proud to release the awesome 2014!

As many of you know, Sleeper is OUR brand. It is a label we created to take advantage (when it comes around) of EXTREMELY HIGH QUALITY "extra" wine from wineries we have close relationships with. I've been doing this a LONG time and so have my partners and pals, Brent Pierce and Cory Wagner. We know A LOT of people in the Napa Valley and beyond, and THIS opportunity was one for the AGES! As is usual in these deals, we signed many pages of non-disclosure agreements, so all we can say is.....aaaarg, we wish we could tell you!

Here's what we CAN tell you:
-- The uber-pricey winery we sourced this from sells its wines in the $85-$200 range.
-- 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the XXXXXX appellation....well, we can't tell you that either as you might figure it out. Sorry!
-- I wish I could tell you who made it, but that would give away who it's from, too!! Let's just say you'd know him, and all of his many, high-scoring wines and critical acclaim over the years.
-- Fantastic 2014 vintage, aged 18 months in mostly new French oak, and only 8 BARRELS MADE.
 -- THIS WINE IS $44!! NOT $75, NOT $125+...$44!!!

2014 SLEEPER CABERNET SAUVIGNON NAPA VALLEY --- $44!!

Did I mention $44 a bottle and that equals a measly $264 a 6-pack?!? OK, enough, sorry...

Here's what it tastes like:
This is a very YOUNG, infant of a Cabernet. We highly recommend cellaring it at least 6 months or a year before you try one, and you can keep it for 10+ years. A deeply concentrated wine that will take some time to show itself, our 2014 Sleeper opens with a smoky, briary, classic Cabernet-correct nose. With air, it fleshes out on the palate and deepens the mid-palate texture. Flavors are of blackcurrants, cedar, herbs, mineral and modest oak. Long finish, with a touch of hillside tannin, but really well integrated and fine. We love this, of course, and are biased, but I tell you with all my heart and 20+ years of selling wine: for $44, this is a knockout Cabernet

Grab a 6-pack or a case, and drink one bottle a year for the next 12 years. We hear from clients who are still drinking their 2005, 2006, 2007 Sleeper Cabs we made that they are loving them. I promise you'll dig this one too! IN STOCK & READY TO SHIP!!
