As rosé Champagne sales soar, you'd be hard pressed to find a better value bubbly than this classic from leading independent Champagne house Paul Goerg. Paul Goerg was the mayor of Vertus in 1876 and a champion of this region of Champagne. Word of mouth success over the last century means the cellar now tends 120 hectares of Premier Cru vineyards around the Champagne region. Here, the Chardonnay grape is king and so naturally is the dominant grape in this mouthwatering rosé. The wine's colour comes from 15% Pinot Noir. The chalky soils of Vertus lend a rich, yet refreshingly mineral quality to this wine, while three years ageing adds considerably to its red berry complexity. Fantastic stuff!!
