Peay Vineyards Chardonnay Sonoma Coast 2006, 750ml (ST92) from The BPW - Merchants of rare and fine wines.

Peay Vineyards Chardonnay Sonoma Coast

750ml

Vintage: 2006
Region: US
Appellation: Sonoma Coast, Sonoma County
Producer: Peay Vineyards

ST92
Rated 92 points by Stephen Tanzer`s International Wine Cellar: Hazy yellow. Vibrant orange, pear and toasty lees aromas offer depth and build in the glass, picking up baking spices and minerals. Stony, finely etched citrus and orchard fruit flavors offer excellent clarity and energy, with a light touch of anise adding complexity. Finishes with gentle grip, restrained citrus flavors and excellent persistence. This was raised in 42% new oak but it doesn`t show. An understated, very suave expression of chardonnay.
