Just in the door - perfectly cellared and IN STOCK!

Dear Oenophile,

My house in St. Helena was built in 1880 (as was the Freemark Abbey winery, pictured here). It is a wonderful creaky, charming old thing, with a big front porch, lots of small rooms, and all the love of my wife and my life in it. We recently discovered a few things about it - the front of the house is being held up by a rock, for example, and is about 97% rotted. And the water heater is a "time bomb." Also that perhaps the second floor bedrooms "probably shouldn't have been built."

So we replaced a few of the front porch boards, and got a new water heater. But we left the rock (hey, it's been doing a fine job). It's a little old and a little new. Like this cellar.

Removed from private storage in Northern California, this pristine collection has been carefully inspected and photographed (another bonus of the new site - you can see a hi-res photo of the ACTUAL bottle you are considering). Priced right, too, of course - the best in the country.

First come, first served! Have a great weekend!

Rene Rostaing Cote Rotie la Landonne -- 2010 750ml

WA96

Rated 96 points by Robert Parker`s Wine Advocate: `The prodigious 2010 Cote Rotie La Landonne reveals a dense purple color along with a huge, impressive perfume of roasted meats, black currants, black raspberries and scorched earth. This 100% Syrah comes from vines planted on exceptionally steep slopes composed of schist and iron-like sub-soils. Some graphite also makes an appearance in this mineral-dominated, well-delineated, rich, intense wine.`
