Rated 90 points by Robert Parker: There are 600 cases of the 2004 Syrah Cuvee Christine, a selection from various vineyards. Kept 17 months in mostly new French oak, and bottled without fining or filtration (the general practice at Pax), it is a lovely, forward, fruity Syrah offering notes of white chocolate, black currants, smoke, roasted herbs, and licorice. This is a full-bodied, fleshy, succulent effort to drink over the next 4-5 years.Rated 91 points by the Wine Spectator: Offers a medley of pepper and wild berry flavors, framed by rich and dense yet supple tannins, finishing with a burst of fruit and ending on a complex tart note.
