Rated 94 points by Stephen Tanzer`s International Wine Cellar: Bright red-ruby. Exotic spices, blueberry pastille, minerals and smoked game on the rather carnal nose. Lush and velvety in the mouth, with captivating complexity and lovely aromatic lift to the flavors of dark berry pastille, leather and exotic oak. Wonderfully silky but not at all heavy, thanks to its fresh minerality. This saturates the entire palate with flavor. Finishes with great breadth and length, as well as a degree of energy I don`t find today in the village wines. A great example of this vineyard.
