Rated 92 points by Stephen Tanzer`s International Wine Cellar: Good bright medium ruby. Complex aromas of blueberry, blackberry, minerals, licorice, flowers and wild spices. Rich, ripe and juicy, with lovely inner-palate lift. This really expands on the back half, finishing with broad, supple tannins and excellent length. This cuvee, from a 1989 planting, has improved significantly in recent vintages; previously it was more earthy, with tougher tannins.
