Rated 94 points by John Gilman`s View From the Cellar: `The 2009 Louis Jadot Bonnes-Mares is an absolute classic in the making. The superb bouquet jumps from the glass in a blend of red and black cherries, a nice touch of wild strawberry, woodsmoke, fresh herbs, soil, gamebirds and a refined framing of new wood. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very pure, with a sappy core of fruit, fine structure, ripe, well-integrated tannins and outstanding length and grip on the superb finish. There is perhaps just a shade less energy on the backend of the Bonnes-Mares than is found in the surreal les Amoureuses, but this is another utterly refined example of the vintage. 2022-2075.`
