Rated 95+ points by Robert Parker`s Wine Advocate: `The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon is a big, plush wine. Despite its initial richness, there is plenty of underlying tannin. Sweet floral notes are woven throughout. The 2009 bursts with energy, precision and sheer class. It is a dazzling effort. Far from an easygoing 2009, the wine shows the more structured side of the vintage. It is likely to require at least a few years in bottle. The 2009 is 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc, aged in French oak barrels, 81% new. Anticipated maturity: 2017-2029.`Additional Notes from the Wine Advocate: `I was quite taken with the wines I tasted from Gallica. Winemaker Rosemary Cakebread sources her Cabernet Sauvignon from Oakville and St. Helena, Cabernet Franc from Oakville and Petit Verdot from Coombsville. Most of the fruit is fermented in small stainless steel tanks, although 15-20% is done in French oak.
